Purpose
The goal is to provide Transitional-Age Youth (TAY), between the ages of 16 to 24, internships to gain experience in the field of behavioral health and to become familiar with services and culturally-competent organizations within the TAY System of Care
Basic Information
Schedule
Internships will be various community mental health clinics throughout San Francisco, schedule is dependent on the participants availability
Compensation, if any
Participants are paid a stipend for the duration of their internship, equal to the San Francisco minimum wage
Admission Procedure
Admission is competitive and applicants are encouraged to enroll in the Youth 2 Youth training program prior to the internship. Y2Y is a 16 week Peer Certificate program that equips participants with the skills necessary to enter the internship program.
