RAMS offers additional training opportunities:
RAMS offers several Masters of Social Work (MSW) clinical internships at various programs such as CAAP Counseling & Pre-Vocational Services, CalWORKs Counseling & Pre-Vocational Services, and Fu Yau Project. The interns provide direct services to clients, under close supervision and guidance, while also participating in didactic seminars and case conferences. They serve as integral members of the direct practice services staff and strengthen skills in applying social work and strengths-based theory into culturally competent clinical practice. RAMS has established agreements with Smith College, UC Berkeley, and San Francisco State University for first and second MSW clinical internships.
RAMS also hosts MSW Management & Planning internships, as an established agreement with the University of California, Berkeley. This placement focuses on further developing skills of agency/program planning & development, evaluation, and operations/management.
