RAMS would like to extend our most heartfelt appreciation to Sony for its donation of a Playstation 4 system, accessories, and games to our Broderick Street facility! The RAMS Broderick Street Residential Facility is a 33-bed long-term residence for adults with both physical and mental health ailments. Under normal circumstances, our residents participate in weekly outings like eating out and trips to the park in addition to volunteers coming to our facility like SF Symphony members with private concerts or visiting therapy dogs. COVID-19 has made all of these activities impossible and it suddenly highlighted the need for more engaging indoor activities.
The team at Sony heard our story and donated a Playstation 4 system, two controllers, and a stack of games! We’re thrilled for our residents to have a new activity that’s mentally stimulating and offers opportunities for them to play together. Special thanks to Chuck Lacson at Sony who made all of this possible.
