Transitional Age Youth Empowerment

Transitional Age Youth (TAY) are individuals between 15 and 25 years old. TAY in the mental health system face many challenges as they continue their education and enter the workforce. RAMS can empower youth to pursue their education and career goals. For more information about vocational training services for adults, please click here.

    Career Connections (ages 15-25)

    Career Connections is a 3-month intensive career counseling and vocational training program that includes a 6-month paid internship placement that matches participant interests.

    Youth 2 Youth (ages 16-24)

    Y2Y is a 16-week Peer Certificate training program for youth who are interested in the behavioral health field. Many graduates move on to TAY Peer Employment for internship placements.

    TAY Peer Employment (ages 16-24)

    TAY Peer Employment provides youth with paid internships to gain experience in the behavioral health field. Youth will also receive ongoing clinical support throughout the internship placement.

    NextGen (ages 18-24)

    For young adults who want a job, or to find out what your future job options are, NextGen offers free job readiness workshop, 1:1 job development and 1:1 case management to help you navigate resources. Free lunch and bus tokens are offered at each workshop; $25 Amazon gift card raffled out every other week; free backpack, pad-folio, interview/work clothes and much more!
